Your holster has been handcrafted with the finest Herman Oak, American made, Vegetable Tanned, Full Grain Leather and will last for generations of use if properly cared for.
Do not try to soften the leather by “Kneading” or bending.
Your holster is designed to remain stiff for ease of one handed re-
holstering and maintaining retention on your firearm. It will “mold” to your body naturally from simply wearing it regularly.
Do not use any oils, creams or conditioners that are designed to
soften-leather.
Your holster has been treated with an Acrylic leather finisher to
waterproof and protect it for many many years.
The only thing that needs to be done for maintaining it’s
appearance and durability are to simply keep it clean with a damp
cloth and wax it occasionally.
We use and recommend Renaissance Wax but you can use any
quality Shoe Wax, Carnauba Wax or Bees Wax that doesn’t contain any oils, conditioners or silicones that are designed to soften the
leather.
If your new holster is too tight on your firearm, simply put your Unloaded gun in a ziplock bag with the muzzle in a corner, shove your UNLOADED gun into the holster and leave overnight. The micro thickness of the bag will stretch the fibers of the leather slightly to loosen the fit but not compromise the retention on your gun. Wearing your holster with the gun in it will also stretch the leather.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR PURCHASE!
I HOPE YOU ENJOY YOUR NEW HOLSTER!
